BC-DW

impeller type

BC-DW

Airfoil Centrifugal Fan, DWDI

Application

The BC-DW Centrifugal Fan is designed to handle large volumes of relatively clean air as required in heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems as well as many industrial air supply and exhaust applications.

Impellers are constructed of steel using flat, single thickness blades that are solid welded to the rim and backplate. The inlet-side rim is designed as a proper companion for the inlet cone. All impellers are statically and dynamically balanced to grade BV3 per AMCA 204 and provide smooth operation prior to being assembled in the fan, followed by final balance of the entire rotating assembly. All BC-DW fan housings are continuously-welded and reinforced with rigid bracing to increase structural integrity.
